Construction: aluminum skins + polyethylene core
Per Maxmetal®, the panel is an aluminum composite material comprised of two pre-painted .15 mm aluminum skins bonded to a solid polyethylene core. The manufacturer positions Maxmetal® as lighter in weight and more durable than both MDO and solid aluminum panels. The polyester finish is described as ready for vinyl, screen print inks, paint, cutting, or routing.

Manufacturer standard sheet sizes include 4′ × 8′ and 4′ × 10′ (panel dimensions also list 5′ × 10′). Seasonal Metal Signs sells finished holiday boards cut down from stock ACM to a safe maximum print and cut size of 24″ × 36″. Retail price for seasonal boards is $266.67.
